RECIPE
*MAKES ABOUT 96 CHIPS
INGREDIENTS:
❀ 12 tortillas - I used a brand called Casa Bonita Foods
❀ 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
❀ 1/2 tsp sea salt
❀ 1 tsp garlic powder
❀ 2 tbsps dried oregano
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Grab the stack of tortillas and cut them into triangles. You can cut them into four stacks for bigger chips or into eight stacks for smaller chips.
- Place the cut tortillas in a bowl and add the oil, salt, garlic powder, and oregano. Toss to combine and evenly coat each tortilla. If you think you need more oil, add a little bit more. You don’t want to saturate them too much.
- Spread them out in an even layer on the baking sheet, with a little room between each chip. Add some more seasoning if you want!
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. I found that 10 minutes was perfect for my oven and the crispiness level I wanted.
- Let them cool for five to ten minutes. They will crisp up more.
Enjoy!
