RECIPE

*MAKES ABOUT 96 CHIPS

INGREDIENTS:

❀ 12 tortillas - I used a brand called Casa Bonita Foods

❀ 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

❀ 1/2 tsp sea salt

❀ 1 tsp garlic powder

❀ 2 tbsps dried oregano

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Grab the stack of tortillas and cut them into triangles. You can cut them into four stacks for bigger chips or into eight stacks for smaller chips.
  3. Place the cut tortillas in a bowl and add the oil, salt, garlic powder, and oregano. Toss to combine and evenly coat each tortilla. If you think you need more oil, add a little bit more. You don’t want to saturate them too much.
  4. Spread them out in an even layer on the baking sheet, with a little room between each chip. Add some more seasoning if you want!
  5. Bake for 8-10 minutes. I found that 10 minutes was perfect for my oven and the crispiness level I wanted.
  6. Let them cool for five to ten minutes. They will crisp up more.

Enjoy!
